BESTA Eisen- und Stahlhandelsgesellschaft mbH, based in Lübbecke, is the northernmost production plant of the Baustahlgewebe group. The company produces around 300,000 tonnes of steel products annually and is thus one of the largest manufacturers of reinforcing steel products in northern Germany. The product portfolio includes coiled reinforcing steel, reinforcement wire in coil and bar form, lattice girders, warehouse mats and bar mats. The products are used throughout Germany and elsewhere in Europe, among other things for residential and industrial buildings, bridges, tunnels, wind farms and special structures. With more than 80 years of experience in the development, manufacture and application of industrially fabricated reinforcement and certified management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 50001), the company delivers reinforcing steel products meeting high standards of quality and delivery capability.
