Bestehorn Sondermaschinenbau is a family-owned company with a tradition spanning more than 100 years at its location in Aschersleben OT Schackstedt. The company develops and manufactures special machinery, systems and fixtures for the most diverse fields of application and requirements – from concept through development and design to production. Existing systems are converted, extended or modernised according to individual customer needs; in addition, the company teams offer repairs, retrofit, replicas and overhauls. Alongside all common metalworking processes such as drilling, milling, waterjet cutting, wire EDM, sheet metal processing and welding technology, the company has specific expertise in stainless steel processing as well as in the manufacture of precision rotating elements such as those used in mills, shredders and conveying devices. The electrical engineering department covers switchgear construction, machine and system controls as well as the planning of control cabinets. Main customer industries are the food, recycling and building materials industries.
