Special-purpose machinery for industrial wood processing
BETH Sondermaschinen GmbH develops and manufactures custom machines and systems for industrial wood processing. Its range of services extends from individual machines to complex, fully automated production cells and turn-key systems for window and door manufacturing, post-and-beam production and wall fabrication for prefabricated house construction. The company was created in 2018 through the merger of SMM Sondermaschinenbau Medebach GmbH (specialising in door machining) and BETH Holzbearbeitungsmaschinen GmbH (specialising in window production) under the umbrella of the Köster Group. All types of wood, wood laminates, plastics, metals, aluminium and composite materials are processed. The offering includes project planning, design, automation, commissioning and a 360-degree service including spare parts. The main site in Medebach comprises production halls for machining and delivery of individual services up to turn-key projects; an engineering site is located in Lübeck. Close cooperation exists with Paul Köster GmbH within the same group.
