Beton-Fertigteilwerk Otto Ergezinger GmbH (BFE) in Gronau-Banteln has been producing reinforced concrete precast elements for building construction since 1973; in 1991 a second production plant, Beton-Fertigteilwerk Unseburg GmbH & Co. KG (BFU), was added in Bördeaue-Unseburg. The product range includes floor slabs as semi-precast slabs according to EC2 (approx. 5 cm thick reinforced concrete panels with lattice girders, 2.50–3.00 m wide), hollow walls made of two reinforced concrete shells with wall thicknesses of 20–40 cm, as well as structural precast concrete parts such as solid concrete slabs and walls, balconies, block steps, plinths, knee walls, beams, columns and raw concrete staircases. Production takes place in-house in reinforced concrete with installed rebar reinforcement according to the structural and design specifications of the project; detail solutions such as isolation baskets, openings, conduit pipes or anchor channels are integrated on request. A technical office handles planning and consulting, reinforcement is delivered with the elements, which are delivered on schedule and erected directly from the truck. Customers are construction companies in structural and residential construction in Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and the adjacent federal states. Both plants work with wastewater treatment and concrete recycling.
