BetonBlockWest GmbH manufactures modular concrete blocks in the interlocking block system. The blocks are stacked without mortar or other bonding materials, are flexibly reusable and reconfigurable, and gain their stability through their own weight. The standard program comprises three standard formats: Block 80/80 (160 x 80 x 80 cm, approx. 2400 kg), Block 80/60 (160 x 80 x 60 cm, approx. 1700 kg) and Block 40/60 (160 x 40 x 60 cm, approx. 850 kg); in addition, block sizes are configurable and concrete of higher strength than C25/30 is available on request. Areas of application include bulk material bays, drive-over silos and silage areas, impact protection, fire protection walls (fire-resistant in accordance with DIN 4102-4, fire resistance class F 90), flood protection, hall construction, slope stabilization as well as noise and privacy protection walls. The company offers an on-site assembly service, rental of a block clamp, anchor blocks for roofing as well as delivery by truck (crane vehicle 19 t, flatbed 25.5 t); pickup is possible in Riegelsberg or Karlsruhe. The plant is located in Gronau (Westphalia).
