Betonwerk Carl Plötner GmbH is a family-run, medium-sized company that has been producing and distributing concrete products for building construction and civil engineering for over 70 years. The Plötner name has been represented in the construction industry for five generations. The product range includes paving stones (including MicroDrain, Centra, PW Vollverbund), grass pavers, garden products such as palisades and block steps, formwork and masonry blocks, kerbstones, gutter stones, concrete blocks LEGROS, retaining angles, wall panels as well as reinforced concrete prefabricated garages, carports, and slabs and walls. Production is carried out mechanically from the natural raw materials sand and gravel with few additives; various products are also available made from recycled materials and/or with cement-free core concrete. Climate products such as the permeable paving stone MicroDrain channel rainwater into the ground via grooves with a drainable fill. Custom colours are offered as special production from 300 sqm per stone size; on request, the goods receive a factory-applied surface protection (ecoShield). The products are distributed via the building materials trade; reinforced concrete garages and carports are also available directly from the works. Customers include building materials dealers, construction companies, municipalities and private customers.
