About Betonwerk Melchien
For around 50 years, Betonwerk Melchien has been a well-known supplier of project-specific concrete precast elements built to the architects' detailed specifications in the North German region. Based in Nottensdorf, the company manufactures custom-made components made of concrete and reinforced concrete, including facing lintels with integrated clinker slip tiles, plinth sills, parapets and structural exposed concrete elements such as balcony slabs, pilaster strips, cover plates, parapet copings and cornices. In the mid-1980s, the product range was expanded to include faced reinforced concrete precast elements such as segment arches, quay walls and façade precast elements. Production is carried out as one-off items, small series and for large projects; in the partially open production hall, manufacturing is possible in any weather up to +5 degrees. A technical office prepares individual production planning for every project. Distribution is nationwide, mainly with its own trucks in the North German region. Customers include construction companies, architects and municipalities.
