About BKK Miele
The Betriebskrankenkasse Miele is a closed statutory health insurance fund headquartered in Gütersloh. It was founded in 1909, ten years after Miele was established, and today primarily insures the employees of Miele & Cie. KG and BKK Simonswerk GmbH; around four out of five Miele employees are insured with it. In addition to all statutory benefits, the fund offers supplementary benefits such as a bonus program, reimbursement for osteopathy, subsidies for professional dental cleaning and sports medicine examinations. Advice is provided in person at nine locations in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony as well as digitally via app, online mailbox, TeleClinic and the electronic patient record. In 1996 the fund merged with BKK Simonswerk GmbH; since 1997 it has continued to exist as a closed health insurance fund.
