Betten Schmidt is a family-run specialist bedding store in Riedering on Lake Simssee near Rosenheim. At the bedding store at Rosenheimer Straße 26, Betten Schmidt GmbH operates its own production facility for a wide variety of bedding products, including an in-house collection of self-designed products. Across more than 400 sqm of sales and production space plus 200 sqm of storage space, the company offers a large selection of bedroom furniture, mattresses, slatted frames and bedding products as well as individual consultation. Services include professional bedding cleaning using gentle, ecological washing and care processes based on certified detergents. According to the company, the down and feathers used come from species-appropriate free-range farming without live plucking; with the down 'Regional – Gans bayerisch', products from Bavarian farms are also offered. The business was founded by Matthias Segerer, grandfather and great-grandfather of today's owning family, more than 65 years ago.
