Betten-Striebel GmbH is a bedding specialist store with its own manufactory at its headquarters in Freiburg. In the approximately 1.500 m² branch at Unterlinden, mattresses, slatted frames, bed frames, duvets, pillows, bed linen, terry goods and nightwear are offered; on the 1st floor, the company produces down duvets and pillows in its own manufactory – also in special sizes – and operates a bed feather cleaning service with a special washing machine. Production is handcrafted from down, feathers and cover fabrics such as cotton; down duvets and pillows have been manufactured in Freiburg for more than 85 years. In 1985, the in-house brand Green Goose Daune was developed. In 2011, the company took over the premises of the company Sprang in Herbolzheim and converted them into a modern bedding specialist store. The company operates as a retailer and manufactory in the field of sleep systems, also sells branded products through an online shop, and offers consulting services such as body measurement system, heat demand analysis and neck support demand analysis as well as delivery and assembly service.
