BETTERLIGHTS GmbH & Co. KG, based in Köditz in Upper Franconia, is a specialist in energy-efficient LED lighting. Founded in 2013 from the merger of experienced entrepreneurs from lighting technology and retail, the company manages projects from on-site condition assessment and lighting design in accordance with the Workplace Directive, through payback and energy-saving calculations, to installation, documentation of lighting values and lease financing. For special requirements, luminaires can be manufactured individually with partner ITW Systems; the product range includes high-bay luminaires, light lines, light band systems, tubes, panels, floodlights, stadium floodlights, and crane and workplace luminaires. Customers include companies from warehouse logistics, production, retail and sports, among them GEALAN Formteile, CUBE Bikes, Klöckner & Co., BITO-Lagertechnik and Gebrüder Schulte. Retrofit conversions achieved energy savings of around 56 to 57 percent depending on the project.
