BEUMER Group GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1935 in Beckum, is an independent family-owned company in its third generation that develops and manufactures intralogistics systems for conveying technology, loading and unloading technology, palletising, packaging as well as sorting, distribution and baggage handling systems. Production takes place at the headquarters in Beckum and, since 2006, at the Shanghai plant, which covers the entire value chain from sales via project planning and engineering to production and service for the Chinese market. The structural steel and welding fabrication is certified according to DIN EN 1090-2 (factory production control) and DIN EN 3834-3 (welding of metallic materials). The systems are used in industries such as airports, CEP/e-commerce, cement, building materials, minerals & mining, chemicals, ports, power plants and the fertiliser industry. With more than 6,000 employees, representations in more than 70 countries and an annual order volume of around €1.83 billion, the company handles projects worldwide, supported by a network of regional service centres with 24/7 lifecycle support.
