About Beutelsbacher
Beutelsbacher Fruchtsaftkelterei GmbH is a family business founded in 1936, now in its fourth generation, headquartered in Weinstadt near Stuttgart. The company produces organic and Demeter fruit juices, vegetable juices, whole fruit juices, vinegars, spice products, natural sweeteners such as pear thick juice, kombucha, schorles and the soft drink brand isis, which has existed since 1989. Processing is carried out with minimal intervention: the fruit is washed, sorted and crushed, gently pressed, the direct juice briefly heated to at least 78 °C, filled into sterile storage tanks and pasteurized after filling – without additives. The range is predominantly filled in returnable glass bottles (0.2 l, 0.33 l, 0.7 l, 1.0 l). The company also offers fruit acceptance from private suppliers (apples, pears and quinces in organic and Demeter quality) and operates a factory outlet at its site in Weinstadt. Production, administration and sales are all located at one site under a single address.

Processes and Processing
Direct juice pressing process
Freshly harvested fruit is gently pressed without the use of concentrate in order to preserve aroma and nutrients.
Short-time heating (at least 78 °C)
The direct juice is only briefly heated and filled into sterile storage tanks without additives.
Pasteurization after filling
A brief pasteurization after filling ensures shelf life without loss of aroma.
Lactic acid fermentation
Vegetable juices such as vegetable cocktail, carrot Rodelika, beetroot and sauerkraut juice are fermented with lactic acid.
Vinegar production with ripening process
In the case of balsamic apple vinegar, the acidity is softened with apple juice concentrate and the taste is rounded off through a ripening process.
Juice concentrates / thick juices
Thick juices such as organic pear thick juice are produced from juice concentrates as natural sweeteners.
Returnable glass bottles with recyclable screw cap
Filled into returnable containers (0.2 l, 0.33 l, 0.7 l, 1.0 l) with labels made with vegan adhesive.
