About Beyers Koffie
Beyers Koffie N.V. is a coffee roaster founded in 1880 in Antwerp and today part of the Sucafina Group. At its roastery in Puurs-Sint-Amands (Belgium), the company produces a broad range of coffee-based products: whole beans, roasted and ground coffee, Senseo-compatible pads, and various capsules, including Nespresso-compatible aluminium capsules. The focus is on private-label production for major retail companies and coffee roasters in Europe, complemented by category management and packaging development. Roasting capacity is 30,000 tonnes per year; overall, around three billion cups of coffee and 1.4 billion pads are produced annually. Beyers employs around 170 staff in five countries and supplies 25 countries. Since 2009, the company has used exclusively renewable electricity; all roasting operations in Puurs are CO2-compensated, and its own product portfolio has been labelled as CO2-neutral coffee since 2015.
