BFR Wisskirchen GmbH is a family-run vehicle manufacturing company founded in 1928 and based in Bornheim (Waldorf) between Cologne and Bonn. Originally focused on forging work and production for agricultural businesses, the company has concentrated on commercial vehicle manufacturing since the mid-1970s. Its portfolio includes standard and special trailers from 10 to 24,000 kg (including tippers, high-sided trailers, low-loaders, car transporters, refrigerated and vending trailers) as well as brand-independent truck bodies and conversions with tail lifts, cranes, BDF systems, refrigerated boxes, tippers or silos. Planning, manufacturing and maintenance are all provided from a single source; in addition, hydraulic power units are sold and repaired, and TÜV/SP inspections are carried out. Since 2025, the independent automotive master workshop BFRW (Hall 3) has been part of the company. Customers include haulage, transport and construction companies, the automotive industry, and private customers; there is a close collaboration with Daimler, MAN, Iveco, DAF and Renault as a certified body manufacturer of Daimler AG.
