About BHL Plastics
BHL Plastics GmbH is a medium-sized company with over 40 years of experience in plastics processing. The company develops, produces and converts custom films, multi-layer films, nonwovens and laminates to customer specification, among others for the construction, food, chemical, electrical, medical/pharmaceutical, automotive and textile industries. Its manufacturing capabilities include blown film extrusion (mono and coex, layflat widths 150–2,600 mm, thicknesses 0.015–0.4 mm), flat film extrusion, calendering of nonwoven/film laminates up to 3,400 mm width, and finishing through flexographic printing with up to eight colours, metallization, silicone coating, adhesive coating and hot needle perforation. Millimetre-precise converting is carried out in web widths from 100 to 3,400 mm. In addition to its own production, BHL Plastics offers contract manufacturing and private-label production. Production takes place at the headquarters in Königswinter-Oberpleis with its own laboratory, raw material warehouse and goods logistics; customers throughout Europe are supplied.

Quality
Manufacturing and processing are monitored by a continuous QM concept, with extensive quality inspections in the company's own laboratory and by external bodies (among others TU Berlin, Kiwa Deutschland GmbH and Prüfinstitut Hoch/Innoform). Laminates and films are regularly measured and tested; artificial ageing tests are carried out in the climate chamber.
