BHS-Sonthofen is an owner-managed mechanical engineering group headquartered in Sonthofen (Germany). The company develops and manufactures machines and plants for mechanical, thermal and chemical process engineering with a focus on filtration, drying, reaction, mixing, crushing as well as recycling and environmental technology. Another business area is machinery for the construction materials industry, in particular concrete and mixing technology. The portfolio also includes consulting and engineering as well as after-sales service; in 2024, a dedicated test center for process technology was commissioned. Customers include companies from various industry groups worldwide, for example Indaver NV (pressure belt filters for precious metal recovery).
