BIAR SA has been developing and manufacturing valves and sampling systems for liquids and liquefied gases in Switzerland since 1983, in particular for hazardous media in the chemical and petrochemical industry. The product portfolio comprises modular in-line sampling valves, sampling systems for reactors and vessels, and customer-specific special designs. The systems are modular in structure: actuators (manual or automatic), upper and lower seals, body materials and accessories are selected according to the process parameters. Applications covered include, among others, the sampling of hydrofluoric acid, vinyl chloride, nitric acid, ethylene oxide, sulfuric acid, liquid chlorine and hydrogen cyanide. Customers come from the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, refining, transportation and food industries.
