BIBKO® – at a glance
BIBKO® Recycling Technologies GmbH, based in Beilstein (Baden-Württemberg), has been developing, manufacturing and distributing recycling systems for liquid residual concrete, wash water and mineral raw materials since 1985. The systems separate fresh concrete into reusable aggregates (sand and gravel) and cement-containing residual water, which is treated via agitator tanks, filter presses and neutralisation plants and returned to the production process. This creates a closed material loop (closed loop) for the ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete and concrete products industries; in addition, applications in mortar and anhydrite plants are available, as well as recycling systems for infrastructure waste through the BIBKO® INFRATEC division. The portfolio includes stationary and mobile systems (ComTec, mobile RWS) with recycling capacities of 4 to 30 m³/h, as well as chamber filter presses (ClearPress) and dosing buffers. Engineers support customers from individual planning through commissioning to spare parts supply and technical support. With over 2,100 systems installed worldwide – more than 331,000 tonnes of recycled material per year – the company supplies customers including in France and the USA.

Material flows and processes
Fresh concrete / residual concrete
Treated in closed-loop systems to recover the original materials.
Aggregates (sand, gravel)
Washed out of residual concrete and immediately reused for concrete production.
Cement (fines suspension)
Kept in suspension in the agitator tank as cement-containing water or separated via filter presses.
Wash water / residual water (pH 11–13)
Highly alkaline; treated via filter press and neutralisation plant for return to the process.
Mortar and anhydrite
BIBKO® recycling systems can also be used in mortar and anhydrite plants.
Infrastructure waste
In the BIBKO® INFRATEC division, recycling systems for infrastructure waste are developed.
