Energy infrastructure and metal construction from a single group
Bidirex GmbH, based in Neuenburg am Rhein, combines energy infrastructure with in-house metal fabrication. The company plans, builds, finances and operates rooftop PV systems, PV carports, battery storage and AC/DC charging infrastructure up to 420 kW (HPC), and through Bidirex Energy GmbH offers electricity models as well as balancing group and virtual power plant services. In metal construction, the Leisinger plant produces CNC turned and milled parts up to 700 mm in diameter and 3,000 mm in length on a Mazak machine fleet with ten CNC stations, and performs tube and flat sheet laser cutting (tube diameters 20–323.9 mm, workpiece lengths up to 12.5 m), press braking, robotic welding and assembly. Materials include steel, stainless steel and aluminium. At the Cham site, removable V-System steel screw foundations are installed, among other things for PV and carport projects. Customers come from retail and real estate, industry and logistics, municipalities, vehicle and trailer manufacturing, and agriculture. Bidirex was founded in 2022 and in 2023 acquired Leisinger Deutschland GmbH, whose origins go back to a smithy in Neuenburg in 1950.
