About the Bigfood Group
The Bigfood Group, headquartered in Hamburg, develops, produces and markets product solutions for foodservice and gastronomy. Its core business is the development of fresh sauces, dips and dressings; the product range also includes fresh spreads and delicatessen products, desserts and sweets as well as frozen products. A speciality is plant-based and fruit-based products free from additives, low-sugar recipes and organic raw materials meeting DGE requirements. The Group operates a technical development centre for product and packaging development, production facilities for small and large batches, supply chain management across Europe, and culinary development with workshops and training courses in its own development kitchens. Together with its sister company Käselager.de, modern and traditional cheese producers are operated in Europe. Sustainable packaging such as the microplastic-free, biodegradable and recyclable RePlus PP cups, along with production powered by 100 % renewable energy, complete the portfolio.
