Trading and Manufacturing with Tradition
BIKAR-METALLE GmbH is an owner-managed family business founded in 1962 and based in Bad Berleburg, which stocks, cuts and machines aluminium, copper, brass, gunmetal, bronze, special alloys and plastics in the form of plates, bars, tubes, profiles and rings. In highly automated cutting centres, more than 75 modern machines produce semi-finished products to the millimetre according to customer dimensions; rings and discs are sawn up to Ø 2,500 mm, and drawing parts are CNC-milled. Under the FORMODAL® brand, the company offers cast and rolled plates with low internal stresses for tool, mould and model making. With around 1,200 employees, annual revenue of approximately €640 million, 125,000 m² of storage capacity and over 60 of its own trucks, BIKAR supplies customers across Europe and worldwide. Production sites exist in Bad Berleburg (4 plants), Korbußen (Thuringia), Bristol (UK), Belagavi (India) and Seremban (Malaysia); BIKAR AEROSPACE GmbH serves the aerospace industry with EN 9100/9120 certification.
