About bilges möbel
bilges möbel is a joinery with a planning office in Bielefeld, in the heart of the East Westphalia furniture-making region. The company manufactures custom furniture and interior fittings for private and commercial customers, including hallways units, wardrobes, reception counters, kitchens and sideboards. In the commercial sector, it produces exhibition and trade fair furniture, for example for Sonae Arauco, including technical drawings and approval drawings. In addition, bilges möbel works as a supplier to industry and the trades, producing cut-to-size panels and milled parts made of wood and wood-based materials – from simple cut-to-size panels to complex milled free-form parts such as 3D letters and round components. Materials processed include, among others, particleboard, MDF, multiplex, plywood, screen-printing panels, HPL panels, veneered panels, OSB, plastic panels, solid wood and three-layer panels. On approximately 1,600 m² of production space, which the company shares with the joinery Niehaus, three CNC milling machines, a horizontal beam saw (Homag), an edge banding machine (IMA) and other machines are available. The owner is master carpenter Nicolai Bilges, a graduate of wood technology (Bachelor of Engineering).

Materials
Particleboard (raw, coated)
Common material for furniture carcasses, cut-to-size panels and milled parts.
MDF (raw, with priming foil or through-dyed)
Well suited for milled free-form parts and painted surfaces.
Multiplex and plywood
Stable wood-based materials for visible constructions and components.
Screen-printing panels
Weather-resistant panels, among other uses for object and terrace construction.
HPL panels and HPL compact panels
Robust, wipeable surfaces for furniture and object construction.
Veneered panels
Wood-look surfaces, produced on the company's own veneer press.
OSB panels
Cost-effective material for exposed applications in object construction.
Plastic panels (e.g. acrylic, PVC)
Processing of plastic panels for technical and design-oriented components.
Solid wood
High-quality material for custom furniture and interior fittings.
