BIMATEC SORALUCE Zerspanungstechnologie GmbH
Limburg a. d. LahnNew on Amplifa
Manufacturer of intelligent cutting technology from Limburg
BIMATEC SORALUCE is a machine manufacturer specialising in cutting technology, based in Limburg an der Lahn. The company develops and sells intelligent, flexible milling, turning and boring centres as well as vertical turning and milling centres in eight series – from fixed-bed and travelling-column machines to high-gantry portal milling machines and multitask milling, turning and grinding machines. The heart of the machines is the in-house developed, fully automatically exchangeable milling heads, whose connection is standardised and which can be exchanged for loaner milling heads within one hour. Workpieces machined are mainly made of steel and aluminium, including moulds and tools for the automotive industry. In addition to machine sales and project execution, Bimatec Soraluce offers comprehensive service: a hotline available 365 days a year, a regional service fleet with twelve service vans, a milling head workshop with 73 loaner milling heads, a spare parts warehouse with over 187,000 original parts, as well as training, retrofit and test machining in the 2,100 m² technology centre. As a sales and service location, the company belongs to the Soraluce Group (Danobatgroup, Mondragon Cooperatives) and employs over 100 staff.

Quality and technologies
Milling head production takes place on jig boring machines from Yasda and Dixi with accuracies below 0.005 mm; quality control of the milling heads is performed by a Zeiss measuring machine. The patented VSET system measures raw parts by photogrammetry with an accuracy of 0.05 mm per metre of workpiece length.
