About GEKA Beton
The Bims- und Beton-Kellersteinwerk Geraedts + Co GmbH in Nettetal has been manufacturing concrete building systems under the GEKA brand since 1961. The product range includes lightweight concrete blocks (GEKA Therm), solid concrete blocks for sound insulation (GEKA Phon, GEKA Phon NL), concrete basement blocks (GEKA Unilath), jacket concrete formwork blocks, large-format construction panels, U-shell blocks for ring beams and levelling blocks. Products are made from pumice concrete, lightweight concrete and concrete. The blocks are characterised by heat storage and insulation properties, sound protection, fire protection and a tongue-and-groove system for fast installation. The products are certified with the Concrete Quality Mark, are tested in the in-house laboratory according to DIN and are monitored by independent testing institutes. The systems are distributed via building materials merchants in NRW; nationwide deliveries are available on request.
