About the Bindewald + Gutting Milling Group
Bindewald und Gutting Verwaltungs-GmbH is a company in the food industry with a focus on flour and other baking ingredients. The nucleus of the group is the Saalemühle in Alsleben (Salzlandkreis, Saxony-Anhalt), which was taken over in 1992 in the course of the privatisation of the GDR economy by the Bindewald and Gutting families, who come from traditional milling families in south-west Germany. Under the umbrella of the group, several milling operations operate as subsidiaries, including Saalemühle Alsleben, Plange GmbH (Neuss), Dresdener Mühle, PMG Premium Mühlen Verwaltungs GmbH, Rheintal Mühlen (Stutensee and Neustadt an der Weinstraße), Kilianstädter Mühle (Schöneck) and Bavaria Mühle (Aichach, 54 %). Together with affiliated partner companies interlinked by personnel but not under commercial law (Kupfermühle Bischheim, Cornexo Freimersheim, Rettenmeier Horb am Neckar), it forms the Bindewald and Gutting milling group, which describes itself as a family-run milling group in Germany.
