Bio-Gen Milchserum Marketing GmbH, based in Montabaur, develops and produces skincare and cosmetic products as well as dietary supplements for European brand owners. Daily production includes surfactant combinations, raw material complexes and specialty products such as gels, emulsions and crèmes; in addition, liposomes for active ingredient encapsulation, solid cosmetics (Solid Bars) and dietary supplements in solid and liquid form are produced. As a private label manufacturer, Bio-Gen accompanies products from development through production and quality inspection to batch-related documentation in accordance with the EC Cosmetics Regulation and GMP standards. The plant in Montabaur, occupied in 2016, has a total area of over 4,500 m², including 1,500 m² of production space, as well as 4,500 pallet spaces. The company is part of the Netherlands-based Zijerveld Group, which specializes in the processing of dairy and cheese products.

Production is carried out in accordance with Cosmetic GMP DIN EN ISO 22716; for dietary supplements there are certifications according to ISO 22000:2018 as well as GMP/HACCP according to Codex Alimentarius.
