Biochem was founded in 1986 as a trader of feed additives and has developed into a company covering the entire feed additive value chain: from consulting and product recommendations for animal health and nutrition, through research and development and production in Germany, to local sales and distribution. The product range includes feed additives and dietetic feeds for various animal species and production segments, including ruminants such as cattle, sheep and goats. Key focus areas are gut health, mycotoxin management, nutrient efficiency and immunostimulation. The company employs more than 400 staff from over 40 nations and supplies its solutions, developed and produced in Germany, worldwide. The headquarters is located in Lohne (district of Vechta, Lower Saxony); there, Biochem has additionally acquired a 7,000 m² site to support long-term growth.
