About biologon
biologon is a Tyrolean family business specialising in the production and refinement of foods from certified organic farming. As a contract manufacturer for private-label products, it produces organic muesli, organic crunchy, organic granola, organic porridge and organic energy bars. The crunchies are baked in a traditional way in the in-house bakery using a Stikken oven, with the crunchy being applied to the baking tray by hand to influence cluster size according to customer requirements. Mueslis and porridge are gently mixed by hand to minimise flake breakage. Recipes are developed together with the customers – for example with reduced sugar, reduced salt, vegan or gluten-free. Production runs 100 % on green electricity from Tyrolean hydropower, the company operates CO2-neutral and has been part of the EMAS system for four years. Logistics are handled by the partner Nothegger Transport & Logistik GmbH.
