About Bioma

Bioma SA is a Swiss company established over 30 years ago and founded by Elio Bortoli. The company is dedicated to the research, production and marketing of products that promote bioremediation – a sustainable treatment method in which natural microorganisms reduce environmental impacts. All solutions are manufactured in Switzerland and are guaranteed free of chemicals and genetically modified organisms; their use is considered safe for humans and animals. The fields of application include livestock farming and animal husbandry (reduction of ammonia emissions, valorization of slurry and manure), agriculture (reduced fertilizer requirements, higher nutrient availability), environment and bioremediation (decontamination of soils and water, wastewater treatment plants, odor reduction at landfills) as well as the food industry (control of microbial fermentation). In addition, Bioma offers 360° consulting on environmental impacts. The product Kopros® was recognized in 2023 by the Solar Impulse Foundation as one of the 1000 most effective solutions for protecting the environment.
