About BIOMALZ Fabrik
The BIOMALZ Fabrik in Teltow is a commercial site located on the grounds of a former malt factory from the Gründerzeit era. In 1911, Myro Patermann and his brothers founded a company producing malt products under the BIOMALZ brand, which went on to enjoy worldwide success. The red-brick ensemble today covers approximately 40,000 m² of land with 20 buildings, five of which have been listed as historic monuments since 1994, including the striking factory building with its chimney. From 2006 onwards, the existing buildings were gradually renovated and equipped with modern infrastructure; functional extension buildings complement the historic structures. Today, the BIOMALZ Fabrik rents out commercial space to around 40 companies from the fields of production, trades, retail and culture, as well as to two restaurants. The site offers 200 parking spaces and is located about 30 minutes from Berlin City Centre, BER Airport and Potsdam.
