About BIOP Green Gas
BIOP Green Gas is a brand of the BIOGEST Group based in Vienna and specialises in the development, construction and operation of biogas and biomethane plants under the Own Plant Operation (OPO) model. As an active majority or minority shareholder, the company invests across the entire project life cycle – from project identification through planning, permitting, feedstock and offtake contracts to financial close, construction, commissioning and long-term operation. The technical basis is BIOGEST technology, including PowerRing and PowerSPF plants. Organic fertiliser is produced as a by-product of the digestion of organic residues from agriculture and the food industry. Projects and operating sites are located in Austria, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Italy and France, as well as in Ireland through partnerships. The headquarters are located in THE ICON VIENNA in Vienna-Favoriten.
