About BIORoxx
BIORoxx GmbH is a biotech company based in Essen that specializes in the development and marketing of a novel rodenticide (RaxXin). The patented compound approach is based on the targeted inhibition of several coagulation factors by multiple individual substances that are non-toxic on their own and only take effect in combination; resistance development is thereby intended to be ruled out. The contained substances are biodegradable, insoluble in water, and are intended to virtually rule out accumulation in soil and water bodies as well as secondary poisoning of non-target animals. Initial efficacy studies demonstrate, according to the company, technical feasibility with 100 % efficacy. Target industries are agriculture, the food industry, pest control as well as environmental and health protection. The active ingredient approach is protected by patents in Europe, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Korea, Australia and Israel.
