About BioSciTec

BioSciTec GmbH, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, develops, manufactures and distributes imaging solutions in the life sciences sector. The portfolio includes in particular systems for (semi-)automated analysis of test strips in various formats – as loose strips, in cassettes, panels, trays or cups. The BLOTrix system consists of readers in different performance classes, from a mobile handheld device to a high-throughput reader, plus the associated software B4C and B5 with report and export/import modules and an interface to the laboratory information system (LIS). As a manufacturer of in-vitro diagnostics, the company maintains an ISO-13485-certified quality management system. The interdisciplinary team in Frankfurt covers life sciences, information technology, mathematics and image processing, and works with leading test strip manufacturers worldwide. Customers include laboratories of various sizes in Europe, large laboratory chains in the USA and police authorities.
