About Biosphäre Markt AG
Biosphäre Markt AG is a joint marketing platform for regional products from the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere. Founded in 2013 by six dairies, two butcheries and four specialty producers, the company pools the «Echt Entlebuch» range – from milk and cheese products made from cow's, sheep's and buffalo milk to ice cream, honey, eggs, meat, flour and pasta as well as tea, herbal salt and beer. The AG handles wholesale, distribution and service for the retail trade and gastronomy, enabling an attractive overall product range to be sourced from a single supplier. Over time, further partner businesses have joined, so that the product range has grown steadily. Its activities are limited to Switzerland; the products carry the «Echt Entlebuch» quality seal.
