About Biotec implant
Biotec implant GmbH is a German dental implant company founded in 2005 and headquartered in Kassel, run by dentists for dentists. The company develops and manufactures a complete range of dental solutions: implant systems (Conical Connection B1, Internal Hex, Internal Hex 2.0 S1, One Piece ARP), surgical kits and drills, prosthetics, CAD/CAM digital solutions and biomaterials. All implants are made from the titanium alloy Ti 6Al 4V ELI (Grade 23), coated with a thin layer of pure titanium dioxide (TiO2) and surface-treated by RBM blasting (resorbable blast media) with calcium phosphate to enhance osseointegration. Production takes place in the company's own manufacturing facilities in Germany in accordance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001; packaging of the sterile-packed products with a double sterile barrier and batch documentation is performed in a Class 7 cleanroom per ISO 14644. In addition to its headquarters in Kassel, Biotec maintains sales locations or distributors among others in the USA, Romania, India, Italy, Turkey, Cambodia and Syria. By 2019, one million Biotec implant products had been sold.
