Biotreasure GmbH develops and operates an integrated bio-chemical manufacturing platform for the industrial production of bio-based chemicals. The platform combines circular, continuous precision fermentation with proprietary chemistry in a modular, continuous manufacturing process – from renewable feedstock to finished product. The biology delivers sustainable platform molecules from renewable carbon sources, while the chemistry expands the product range and scales the output. Products are bio-based building blocks for polymers and advanced material systems, upcycled specialty ingredients for Personal & Home Care, and bio-based crop protection solutions – as drop-in solutions or co-developed to customer specifications. The company is based in Planegg/Martinsried near Munich and is funded by SPRIND; the platform is built on Insempra's biotechnology platform.
