What we do
BIOVOX specializes in Medical Grade bioplastics for highly regulated industries. The company develops and supplies bio-based polymer types such as bio-PE, PLA and PEF, which are suitable for injection molding as well as profile, tube and film extrusion. The MedEco materials are available as standard grades or customized to the respective customer application. They are free of critical constituents such as PFAS, BPA and phthalates, biologically safe according to ISO 10993, save up to 85% CO2 (Cradle to Grave) and are both mechanically and chemically recyclable. In addition to material development, BIOVOX offers consulting on plastics engineering, sustainability, quality and regulatory affairs. Customers come from medical technology, pharmaceuticals, laboratory and hygiene, including Aesculap AG and SoBiCo GmbH. The quality management system is certified according to ISO 13485, and the Medical Grade quality follows VDI 2017.
