About Birdwave Automation
Birdwave Automation is a robotics and automation company founded in 2025 in Aachen. It helps manufacturing companies, start-ups and research teams to discover, compare, procure and integrate robotics solutions – from individual components such as robots, cameras, grippers and sensors to complete automation systems. The services include robotics discovery with feasibility assessment, use-case-related product comparison, robotics procurement via a partner network, and integration support from proof-of-concept to full deployment. Through the knowledge platform Birdwave Atlas, use cases, solutions and providers are linked in a structured way; the marketplace Birdwave Market (under construction) enables the procurement of robotics components and turnkey cells. As a reference solution, Birdwave has integrated a vision-guided depalletizing system that handles over 400 product types with a custom gripper and proprietary image processing. Target groups are manufacturing companies and SMEs, system integrators, innovation and production managers, and technology providers.
