About BKV GmbH

BKV GmbH is a think tank and competence center of the German plastics industry headquartered in Frankfurt am Main. It provides the industry with data and facts on resource efficiency and the circular economy of plastics, thereby supporting business decisions. The entire plastics value chain is represented within BKV: companies and associations from plastics production and processing as well as plastics machinery manufacturing. The core offerings include the analysis and assessment of markets and technologies for the recovery of plastics-rich waste, research and evaluation of legal frameworks at EU and national level, and consulting on circular economy concepts and strategies. Topic areas include, among others, recovery technologies (mechanical, feedstock and energy recycling), market data and material flow analyses, standardization, and plastics in the environment. BKV cooperates with a network of industry, politics, universities and non-governmental organizations, including internationally, and makes project results available to all interested parties on equal terms.
