About Black Forest Motion
Black Forest Motion was founded in 2018 following a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the PINE Motion Controller. The company develops and manufactures flexible, modular motion-control systems that can be configured with one to four axes. The product portfolio includes the PINE Controller series (including the PINE II with support for third-party units and virtually silent motor control), the PINE Motion App for Android and iOS, sliders in 60 cm and 100 cm lengths, modular NT axes for pan/tilt applications, lens units for focus and zoom control, and a high-precision macro slider with lead-screw drive for resolutions in the micrometer range. The systems are used for automating camera movements for time-lapse, video production and visual effects, gigapixel and 360-degree photography, photogrammetry/3D scanning, astrophotography, live productions, turntable product photography, and macro photography with focus stacking. The products are offered as bundles and accessories such as transport cases and power sticks.
