Black Pepper GmbH, based in Thalgau near Salzburg, is an Austrian hardware manufacturer of professional kitchen monitors and touchscreen computers for digital kitchen processes (KDS). The KitchenSpeed product family comprises the Lite line with Windows 11 or Android 14 (in three sizes 15.6", 21.5" and 32") as well as the Ultra+ line with stainless steel housing in 22" and 32" for particularly demanding kitchen environments with heat, grease and steam. The devices are designed for 24/7 continuous operation, feature fanless metal or stainless steel housings, waterproof fronts made of tempered glass and capacitive touchscreens that can be operated with latex gloves. The Android variant supports PoE (Power over Ethernet). The product range is complemented by floor, wall and ceiling mounts with VESA 100x100 and quick-release mounting. Sales are handled through specialist retailers and qualified distribution partners, supplemented by technical support, advice on monitor selection and an in-house WiFi software tool for WLAN coverage planning.
