About Blend+
Blend + GmbH was founded in 2015 by Hans Houben and Joachim Bayer in Düren and develops and produces custom additive blends for manufacturers, processors and recyclers of polymers. The portfolio includes powders and pellets, performance blends as well as free-flowing agglomerates. At its plant in Düren, the company operates a blending line capable of ultra-precisely blending up to eight different additives, and two hot compaction production lines at processing temperatures up to 160 °C. As an independent manufacturer, Blend+ selects raw materials independent of suppliers; in addition to producing its own formulations, the company offers services such as development, pilot plant (lab samples 1–3 kg) and contract work (blending, compaction, sieving, deagglomeration, filling and repacking). Blend+ delivers to customers worldwide; 20 employees work in Düren in development, production and administration.
