About Blickfeld
Blickfeld is a company founded in Munich in 2017 that develops and produces 3D LiDAR sensors and related perception software. The sensors of the Qb product family (Qb2, QbBasic, QbProtect, QbProtect S, QbVolume) are based on proprietary MEMS mirror technology made from standard silicon wafers, which are manufactured in high volumes using photolithographic processes. A patented laser-detector module (LDM) with a 905-nm laser diode and SiPM detectors enables volume-capable series production similar to camera manufacturing. The combination of hardware and on-device software covers applications such as perimeter security, bulk material surveying, traffic and infrastructure, pedestrian flow analysis and industrial automation. Since 2025, Blickfeld has been part of Senstar Technologies Corporation (Nasdaq: SNT) and, in addition to its headquarters in Munich, operates a North America office in the Detroit region.
