About us

Blitzableiterbau & Überwachung H. Klammer Inh. Volker Westphal e.K. is a certified craft business from Kerpen-Sindorf that has been protecting private, commercial, industrial and public buildings against lightning strikes since 1950. Its range of services includes external and internal lightning protection systems, earthing systems (foundation earthing, ring earthing, deep earthing) as well as maintenance, testing, individual consulting and planning. Work is carried out as Lightning Protection Systems (LPS) in accordance with DIN 18014 and DIN EN 62305 (VDE 0185-305). Materials used are galvanized strip and round steel, hot-dip galvanized steel, stainless steel 1.4571 (V4A) and bare or tinned copper cables from 50 mm² cross-section; deep earthing rods are driven up to 9 meters into the ground using a vibratory hammer.
