BLOCK Transformatoren-Elektronik GmbH develops and produces transformers, power supplies, switching power supplies, UPS systems, electronic circuit breakers, redundancy modules, chokes/inductors, EMC and harmonic filters as well as inductive components for power electronics. At its headquarters in Verden, the entire spectrum of the value creation process is bundled: research and development, purchasing, production, sales and administration are all under one roof. A significant portion of the business is dedicated to customer-specific special solutions – more than 5,000 product developments are created each year, 76 % of them custom-made; an online configurator (ST4.0) enables the creation of individual transformers with 3D models and technical drawings. The products are used, among other things, in mechanical engineering, drive technology, railway technology, switchgear and control cabinet construction, intralogistics, medical technology as well as in wind and solar technology. Over 700 employees worldwide work at the sites in Germany and at branches including in Great Britain, Belgium, Denmark, France, Austria, China and the USA. The company looks back on more than 85 years of company history.
