About Blue Connect
Blue Connect GmbH is an electrical and IT company based in Effingen in the Fricktal region (AG). The company was founded in 2011 by Patrick Kilchherr as a one-man business in Mellingen and converted into a GmbH in 2013. Its service portfolio includes electrical installations for residential and industrial buildings, lighting and LED conversions, emergency lighting systems, shutter controls, heating and ventilation installations, low-voltage systems such as fire alarm and surveillance systems, as well as building automation. In the IT sector, Blue Connect plans and implements network installations with copper and glass cabling, Powerline and WLAN, as well as optical in-house broadband cabling using the Home-Fibre system with polymer optical fibres (POF) based on PMMA. Since 2023, the company has been offering PV systems as a complete solution together with a partner company, along with charging systems for e-mobility and energy optimisation. The offering is rounded out by consulting, planning, site management, periodic electrical inspections, and maintenance and service, throughout Switzerland, including demanding service work and small orders.
