About BLÜCHER

BLÜCHER develops and produces personal protective equipment for CBRN protection (protection against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazardous substances) under the SARATOGA® brand. The product portfolio includes outerwear and underwear as well as equipment for complete skin protection for the military, civil defense, fire brigades, police/special forces and international organizations. The core technology is based on high-performance spherical adsorbents and sorptive composites that provide protection against gaseous, liquid and aerosol hazardous substances. The adsorbents are manufactured in the company's own production facility in Brandenburg; research and development, key production steps, quality management and sales are managed from Erkrath near Düsseldorf. The solutions are protected by more than 350 patents; to date, over 12 million SARATOGA® protection systems have been delivered to more than 55 countries, including 22 NATO member states. Customers include, among others, the OPCW (Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons), whose inspectors use SARATOGA® protective suits.
