About BMB
BMB Gesellschaft für Materialprüfung mbH is a service provider for non-destructive material testing (NDT) based in Bad Rappenau, established in 1985. The offering includes penetrant testing (PT), X-ray testing (RT-S, RT-A, RT-µ), computed tomography (CT), eddy current testing (ET), visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), hardness testing (HT) and ultrasonic testing (UT). Mainly cast, forged and plastic parts, electronic components as well as fibre composites such as GFRP are tested – from prototypes to series testing with a current capacity of over 10,000 parts per day, including inline integration into customer production. In the CT field, three setups (225 kV, 300 kV, 450 kV) are available for 3D defect analysis, CT measurement, reverse engineering, damage and porosity analysis according to BDG P 201/P 202 as well as fibre composite analysis. In addition, BMB offers on-site testing, X-ray system service, consulting services for testing systems, training as well as internal audits and process analyses. Customers come from the automotive industry, aerospace, rail, electrical engineering, the food industry, mechanical engineering as well as art and cultural heritage protection.
