BMG-Baumgart GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed family business from Lemgo with more than 60 years of market experience. The company manufactures analogue and digital measuring instruments for the measured variables temperature and pressure in-house, including bimetal thermometers, glass thermometers, spring thermometers, gas pressure thermometers, Pt100 probes and digital temperature switches, as well as Bourdon tube, diaphragm, capsule and digital pressure gauges, pressure regulators and shut-off valves. The manufacturing range also includes accessories such as thermowells to DIN 43772, weld-in sockets, water-filled syphon tubes to DIN 16282 as well as shut-off cocks and valves to DIN 16262/16270/16271 in brass, steel and stainless steel. Measurement accuracies of Class 1, 0.5 or better are achieved; the temperature measurement range covers -200 °C to +1,800 °C, the pressure measurement range from vacuum to 7,000 bar. Customers include, among others, asphalt construction, agriculture, landfill technology, food industry, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, building services, mechanical engineering and research institutions. Prototypes, small series and frame orders are offered, initial and recalibration also for third-party products as well as personalised printing.

Quality and Inspection Certificates

On request, the instruments are supplied with audit-proof certificates: test reports on measurement accuracy, material certificates, works certificates 2.2, acceptance inspection certificates 3.1 to EN 10204, DAkkS calibration certificates as well as official calibration certificates or Eichscheine (verification certificates) with verification stamp (15 years) for precision glass laboratory thermometers. The independent calibration service covers initial and recalibration also for third-party products, including reminders of calibration cycles.
